A Weekend of Art, Creativity, and Community

This year’s MoCCA Fest, hosted by the Society of Illustrators at the Metropolitan Pavilion on March 15-16, was nothing short of spectacular! The event drew massive crowds, with lines stretching around the block—an incredible testament to the thriving community of illustrators, comic artists, and storytellers in New York City.

Xencelabs was proud to be part of this amazing weekend. From the moment the doors opened, we had the pleasure of engaging with fantastic artists eager to try our tools. Whether it was our Pen Display 24, Pen Display 16, or Pen Tablets, attendees of all ages—including young aspiring artists—found our devices intuitive and fun to use.

We were also fortunate to have our team members Michelle Martorell, Hannah Imperial, and Doug Little on-site, alongside visiting artists Freddy Tutiven (FIT) and Matt Larson (Red Raven Studios). Throughout the event, we connected with educators, students, and professionals, strengthening our ties with the artistic and academic communities.

A huge congratulations to Angela Rische, the lucky winner of our Pen Tablet Medium Bundle SE! We can’t wait to see what she creates with it.

Prior to the festival itself, we had the pleasure of joining the Society of Illustrators’ Sketch Night on March 12, where we enjoyed an inspiring live model drawing session. It was a fantastic way to kick off MoCCA Fest, and we’re already looking forward to working with the Society of Illustrators again next year.
