Pixar's RenderMan booth at SIGGRAPH is always a highlight and this year is no different. During this year's SIGGRAPH conference at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, attendees can visit with the Pixar team and discover how their rendering software solutions – RenderMan, LookDev and XPU – are bringing new and exciting digital tools to animation and VFX artists.
Additionally, the RenderMan Art & Science Fair, taking place on the evening of July 31 at The Mile High Station (just a short walk from the convention) and sponsored by AMD, NVIDIA and DELL, is a wonderful by invitation only event that features engaging presentations and an opportunity to network and catch up with friends. Not only will you leave the event with RenderMan's coveted Walking Teapot, but you'll also have a chance to win a Xencelabs Pen Display 16.
July 31st marks the start of another RenderMan Art Challenge. This year's Art Challenge kicks off at the Mile High Station in Denver, CO during SIGGRAPH 2024. Whether you're an art and design student or professional animator, this is your opportunity to share your imagination and illustration skills using Pixar's RenderMan software. The Art Challenge consists of several theme-based online challenges and wraps up in late November or early December after the prestigious panel of judges has made their decision on who will walk away with some great prizes.
