Whether you’re an art and design student or professional animator, this is your opportunity to share your imagination and illustration skills using Pixar’s RenderMan software. This year’s Art Challenge honors the IEEE’s commitment to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity, the theme of the challenge is Compute. Create a cityscape showcasing future human innovations or maybe an alternate reality where electricity was never invented … The only limit is your imagination. The challenge wraps up in late November or early December after the prestigious panel of judges has made their decision on who will walk away with some great prizes from sponsors.
