If the application you are using has shortcut keys, you will be able to easily enter those into the Control buttons on the Pen Tablet and Pens, or the Dial and buttons on the Quick Keys.

Yes, as long as the function you want to perform within that program has a keyboard shortcut, you can configure that in the Quick Keys, Pens, or Pen Tablet buttons, and you can make it application specific.
