The tablet will work without the driver but only has basic navigation functions, however, the Quick Keys requires driver installation. To get full benefits of the tablet we strongly recommend you download and install the driver.
Select your operating system below and download your driver.
Important note: The installation wizard requires wired connection to at least one of your devices during setup.
For Mac users, after installing the driver please restart your Mac for the driver to function properly.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR WACOM USERS ON WINDOWS SYSTEMS
If, in addition to your Xencelabs device, you also use a Wacom pen display or pen tablet, please note:
For applications using Windows Ink (typically the default), you should be able to use both devices without issues.
If your applications require the use of WinTab, you must:
Exit the application you want to use.
Disconnect the USB port (or wireless adapter) of either the Wacom or Xencelabs device. This is because WinTab can only work with one device at a time.
Restart the application so it can find the device you want to use.
If you do not know if your application requires WinTab, please check with the software company. You can also just try using the application, but you may see random pen behavior if there are WinTab conflicts.
Kensington NANO lock slot
Slide and hold to turn on/off. Adjustable sleep times are in the settings panel.
Solid green light indicates full charge, breathing green light indicates charging, solid amber light indicates low charge.
Blinking blue light indicates searching for connection, solid blue light indicates successful wireless connection and breathing blue light when connected via USB cable.
Three buttons at the top of the tablet give access to commonly used functions. All the buttons can be re-assigned in the settings panel.
Active area brightness and color can be changed in the settings panel.
If you do not know if your application requires WinTab, please check with the software company. You can also just try using the application, but you may see random pen behavior if there are WinTab conflicts.
You can connect the tablet wirelessly with the provided dongle which establishes a wireless connection between the dongle and the tablet. We have provided a USB-A to USB-C adapter if you need it. If you bought the bundle with the Xencelabs Quick Keys, the single dongle will connect both the tablet and the Quick Keys. (Figure 5 )
